I like how enthusiastic th counselors are. I love how they all know th kids names. They do fun projects with the kids.

Our daughter thrived at New Adventures, room one this summer. She enjoyed the different activities and specialists and loved her counselors. They supported her in warming up and coming out of her shell. We were very impressed with the staff- always with a smile and great energy and providing regular updates to caregivers.

My daughter had so much fun! She came home talking all about the fun activities. She loved the themes (especially Wild West week, she couldn’t stop talking about the bandit!) The staff was so kind and friendly. Thank you for all you do!
The staff to kid ratio is great and I know my kid is safe and well cared for at New Discoveries. Activities are paced well for and there is plenty of variety to keep everyone excited for the next day or theme. The swim classes build confidence and are an important part of the day. Thanks to all the counselors and program folks who commit their energy and time to this summer experience.

I was not expecting my son to enjoy his experience so much but he loved New Discoveries. I think the counselors were his favorite part.
My children have been very happy at New Discoveries. They enjoy the curriculum, swimming, and the themes.
I like that the children swim multiple times each week and that they go on field trips.
I was pleasantly surprised about the staffing, organization, and activities available to the kids at camp. Aftercare can be a little unstructured, so I was expecting an experience more like that. the kids loved it!

We had a great experience at New Discoveries. My kids loved how engaged and excited all the counselors were and they had a great time with all the themes. The one issue I had (and I'm not sure how true these reports were coming from my kids) - is that at times there were some punitive interventions (time out, sit at the front of the bus away from kids) happening....twice with my kids, but more so I was hearing it about it happening to other kids. Also, it would be great to get a heads up about any supplies needed (e.g., the ti dye activity) earlier in the week.

We loved attending the Y-New Adventures program. My son was excited and eager to go each day and I felt he had a great time. Looking forward to returning next year!

The days/weeks my daughter was enrolled had enough different activities and themes to keep her engaged. Water week was a favorite.
Staff was friendly and well-organized. Camper had a blast!
Only option with truly full day care for working parents. For my 7 year old was fun for him but only did 3 day of swimming. I. Past I thought it was 5 days when we did it 3 or 4 hrs ago wigg RH my daughter. Teachers are terrific and Cormac came home happy every day. Excellent local camp option.

My daughter is 4 years old and this was her first time at camp! Needless to say, we were all nervous about it. Especially the swimming aspect. She had an amazing time, loved all the counselors and even asked to start taking swimming lessons! We will definitely be returning next year :)

The counselors are lovely. They are great with the kids..nurturing but helping them be more independent.
My daughter has had a wonderful experience at camp so far. She was so nervous the first few days and Ms. Kim in beforecare helped so much in getting her comfortable. Her kindness has been so appreciated. My daughter talks so much about Ms Taylor in her room, saying she helps her and listens to her all the time. This is my child’s first experience with camp and the attention and warmth she has been shown has helped her to have a great time and to fully participate in the experience.
