It’s just a cool place to be with your children. The staff is super cool, and helpful. It all feels like family.
Parents are truly embraced as a part of the community. I love how there is a class parent who organizes the other parents, how there is open dialogue with our wonderful teachers, and most of all how welcoming and community centric the ELC is. I love being able to walk up to my daughter’s classroom and see all of the beautiful artwork throughout the building

Our daughter absolutely loved the Basketball Bouncers (5-6 year old) program. Not only did she progress in the game of basketball, she built her confidence and had fun in the process. We will be signing up again in the future!
We had a great experience this session. We got great feedback on our child. The instructors seemed really engaged with the kids. And our daughter is now swimming without any noodles or anything! Couldn't be happier.
The set up is suitable for the age group and it’s not the same every week.

My son has enjoyed his experience and has learned about several different sports. I look forward to him participating in more sports at the Y.
Instructor is great a paying attention to the kids in teaching them proper techniques.

Our granddaughter loves the Geyer Y. and we loved her preschool experience there with very kind and caring teachers. Even for babysitting nights, teachers greet our grandchild with warmth. She also gets to reconnect with old friends there. The rooms are spacious for educational and recreational activities. It's always clean and welcoming.

My daughter learned quickly with the swimming instructors, I have tried a couple of other swimming schools, but the YMCA of Montclair is by far the best. They gave my daughter the confidence she needed to progress. Thanks so much!

All the installations are spotless
But the gym for babies looks abandoned and kids are not attractive to do anything there.

Front desk staff is very friendly and welcoming. Swim staff is supportive and patient with my son. He looks forward to his lesson every week.
