The front desk are always super welcoming and helpful. I love all the programs that are offered and take advantage of the prime time child care. I’d love to see more hours available for prime time in the early afternoon time frame. But very happy with the y
Unlike the Manlius YMCA, there is plenty of equipment that is relatively new and in working condition.

Have been a member for years. Wide range of programs of all kinds suitable for kids to seniors. Friendly staff. Lots of smiles. Always feel welcomed at this facility. Our grandkids miss the waterslide that is no longer functional. New pickleball nets would be nice.
Facility and staff
This YMCA is busy community with a wide variety of activities for all ages. I have participated in a number of classes here that are not offered at my local Y, played pickleball, used the elyptical and the hot tub. There is so much that i haven’t tried yet. The staff is friendly and welcoming. It is worth the 35 minute drive for me to partake in the offerings of the Hal Welsh East Area Y.
The pump class o take on Friday mornings is great. The instructor is knowledgeable. The other people in the class can be rude.

I love the staff and how they make members feel welcome at every encounter. Staff always greets me by my first name and inquires how I am doing. I feel like they are part of my family.
The time is good for me
All the instructors are so very knowledgeable about their particular class and make their classes fun and challenging!

Make swim lessons cheaper! Other than that, it's a great, comfortable place to workout. Staff is friendly, equipment is clean and it's never too busy.
I like friendliness of the staff and cleaziness , restrooms are always clean. Well organized organization.
The Staff is very nice but scarce during the weekday mornings. I and others are concerned if a medical issue should occur in a member using the facility during that time of day.
The variety of things to do. Therapy pool is too small
