It's clean. Most of the staff are friendly. I like what they have to offer equipment wise.
I love the Art programs and have participated in so many, the instructors are wonderful and there is such a sense of community. I have taken, among other classes, Pualani’s AOA workshops. She is so nuturing and besides discovering creativity that I never knew I had, I have made several good friends (which is unusual to do at my age).
I also participate in a few of the exercise classes and they are great! They keep me motivated to keep going .

There’s so much to do! Swimming lessons, music lessons, Art, work out/Zumba AND Cooking lessons!!!!

The classes and the EGYM

It makes me feel very good to go to the Fayetteville YMCA usually three times per week to exercise at my own pace and do whatever I can to be physically active. I am also glad that the Y is very intergenerational. People of all ages are encouraged to attend and partiacipate at whatever level is appropriate for each individual.
Various activities and classes for children and adults are offered on a regular basis. The staff are polite and courteous. That is the way it should be, too.
Wonderful staff and convenient facilities, also the interest and commitment to including all people and making sure they feel a sense of belonging.

We enjoy the opportunity to exercise in the E Gym and appreciate help when needed. Easy access to the gym and varying times that it is available.
I rarely come to the Hal Welsh East Area Family YMCA on a Friday morning, but it was my daughter's 15th birthday and she wanted to start it off there with a workout and sauna.
It was energizing to see the activities for all ages. Truly loved walking through the Y and seeing the programs in action: the art studio, multiple groups in the pool, fitness classes, childcare...just so much going on.
And as a bonus I got to run into Liz Scheibel, one of our best volunteers!
