We’ve been taking lessons for about a year and a half and it’s so nice that the instructors and the aquatic directors know my son by name and have really helped him to progress. My son looks forward to his weekly lessons. I also like the small group sizes where the kids get 1-1 attention.
The Aquatics team is absolutely fantastic! They are patient and kind. They know when to push a kiddo and when to hold back and let them figure it out themselves. You can tell they really want their students to learn not only how to swim, but how to be safe anywhere around water. We love our Aquatics Classes at the Y!

Friendly staff, steam room
I take my grandson there because I am a mentor through Advocates. He is always welcomed by the staff who know him ... especially Luke. Chase takes a Aqua Dance class and I like the fact that I can be with him in the pool to keep an eye on him. The facility is always clean and the staff friendly.
Friendly people, friendly instructors and helpful classes. My experience is mostly in the pool. Though I do wish this facility was larger.

My son was treated with such patience during his 1:1 swimming lessons. Emily is such a kind instructor and goes to great lengths to figure out what works for each child. Definitely will continue his lessons in the new year.

It is such a honey warm experience. It is smaller and an old building but going there feels like you are going home with the atmosphere and the incredibly friendly staff.
Since I helped build the North Area YMCA working for Stan Marr Construction and later became the first building and grounds director.
