There is nothing I didn't absolutely love about the preschool experience at the North Area Family YMCA. Mrs. McDonough and Mrs. Dowling are not only incredible educators, but they are kind, generous, selfless, etc. I have never felt more comfortable with the well-being and the educational needs being in the hands of these two astounding women. Love this program!!

Everyone is very friendly
My children had a wonderful camp experience. They enjoyed the activities, games, and counselors. The ice cream truck was a big hit too! As was the library truck. They especially enjoyed free swim Fridays and black-top time.
My kid loves going there each day and doesn’t want to leave! Camp Counselors are great with the kids

Everything! My son was happy every day he came home and always looked forward to going the next day! He loves the counselors, the swimming, the activities and play! He thrived while being at camp. He loves it so much, he said he wants to become a counselor one day!
Everything! The pool is always so clean, water temp is perfect for lap swimming, the exercise area with machines is always so comfortable, bright and inviting! Best place to workout around!

Mostly happy. But more help is needed in the exercise room. Saw a man fall and no one helped him. So I went over. Young people sit on the machines, not. Using them, on their phone.

Flexibility. The number of things that are included with the membership. I hope the hours might return to 9 PM when the school year begins

The many different options to choose from: exercise, gym, aquatics.
There is one thing that has troubled me for almost as long as I have been a member.
The Aquatic Area has both Steam & Sauna Rooms. It’s disturbing that there are shoe covers hanging next to each entrance into the Aquatic Area, and a sign on the doors that requires members to use the covers in non-aquatic shoes. However, it is ignored by members who walk freely into the area and into the steam and sauna without the covers. They sit in these areas with their shoes that might be carrying diseases and parasites from outdoors and the exercise and gym floors.
There is nothing or no one stopping these people and requiring them to put on the shoe covers.
It would be appreciated if this issue could get addressed in a more appropriate manner than a small sign on the doors that is not read.
