As i have said before it is a very clean facility is a positive. I can't comment on youth accommodations b/c it doesn't apply to me as a older single member. However, in the 4 months i have used the YMCA it seems like there is something for everybody and their needs.
I love the helpfulness of employees and the wide variety of things to do! Being a part of the Livestrong and Laurie's Hope programs is greatly helping me in my cancer recovery and I am so grateful for those programs!
Everything. You're clean, have tons of equipment, have plenty of different courts and sports for the entire family, and attract mostly folks that are serious about maintaining their health. It's big, the aquatic area is huge, and you have sauna and steam rooms. The only think missing is a big hot tub. We also love the lazy river for our grandkids. The place is just awesome!!!
The facility is always very clean and up to date. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The reason why I didn't rate a 10? I have seen toddlers crawling on the track, different ones, more than once, and very young children running around without anyone watching them. I am in my mid/upper 70's and I am very concerned for their safety, as well as my own; I don't do well when startled. I never see staff up there, and if there are cameras, I suggest there is not consistent monitoring. Thank you.
The variety of exercise machines
I love the variety of classes for seniors.
No matter the time of day when I visit, the staff greet me with a smile and a kind word.
In the rare moments when I need assistance, the staff are quick to address any issues.
The facilities are kept in great shape, this is the best branch around!

I use the childcare a lot- they are all really good with my daughter- I also like the track and my kids like the pools
I have a wonderful trainer to help me every week increasing my physical movement by machines. I always feel better when I leave. I find the employees welcoming and positive while making the NW Y a clean, pleasant place.

My husband and I do laps swimming. Since the pandemic-era registration system, we've been swimming alternately at all the of the Syracuse area pools (excluding downtown). NW is lovely and light, and the options available (lazy River, therapy pool, sauna) are enjoyable. It does get a bit too loud, especially if you don't happen to like the musical choice, since there's almost always some kind of music going. The locker rooms are well-maintained, generally. It's quite a trek, since we live much closer to Fayetteville, but it's worth it once in awhile.
I also hope to work in the ceramics studio at some point.

I love that I never seem to have to wait for equipment. It’s clean and the staff has always been friendly. Prime-time workers have always been great with all of my kids. I love that I can bring my kids to the turf on a Saturday and let them run around. It’s a great place for families.

I enjoy the facilities. The people that work there at WONDERFUL! I really enjoy the bookclub & crochet group meetings! Lastly, even if I don't use all that is offered at the Y, I do believe it is a wonderful place and I want to support it so others will have the opportunity to take advantage of everything you have. The facility is SUPER clean and everyone that works there is friendly and helpful. I really enjoy taking the group fitness classes. I have been taking classes led by Kristen Exner for several years now and she is a very motivating, caring and friendly.
I love the 4:30 time slot for group fitness classes. It's very convenient to my schedule.
