I enjoy the water aerobics!
The facility is SUPER clean and everyone that works there is friendly and helpful. I really enjoy taking the group fitness classes. I have been taking classes led by Kristen Exner for several years now and she is a very motivating, caring and friendly.
I love the 4:30 time slot for group fitness classes. It's very convenient to my schedule.

Only negative is that I've noticed recently that the women's locker room isn't as clean as it normally used to be. Trash over flowing, sinks dirty, etc.

The Northwest Y has many wonderful features: free classes, friendly staff, and a very clean facility. As a senior with a hip replacement, I especially like using the walking track. My only complaint would be the parents who bring their small children upstairs and allow them to run freely on the track. These children are definitely under the age of 8, and are often unsupervised by the parent. This occurs most frequently on the weekends, and during times when school is out. If the staff could enforce the rules about no children on the track it would be much safer for the seniors who use it.

Excellent , motivating class instructors. Wide variety of classes. Nice pool, kiddy pool, lazy river and therapy pool with jets. Sauna. Very friendly and helpful staff and nice clientele. Love the indoor track! Extremely clean. You feel like you are in a spa setting!

The facility offers such a wide variety of activities so that everyone can find something appropriate for their needs and desired outcomes. It is a wonderfully clean and friendly environment- a true attribute to the a Baldwinsville community.

We love the Y and have been been members very close to the date of its opening. We are there almost daily. I love all the classes that are offered. The instructors are wonderful. I personally take cycle, barre, infusion, Zumba, and Yoga. My husbands enjoys the pool. We both use the weight room and the track.
I have noticed since we returned from CoVID that the Facility is not maintained like it once was. The cleaning is not what it use to be and there are more signs with out of order on toilets and weight equipment. We have a State of the Arts Facility and I am proud to be a member. The former director would be seen checking out things that needed to be done to keep it looking great. We need high standards of cleanliness and maintaining the equipment, touch up painting, etc... People notice and are proud when it is clean.

I enjoy the facilities. The people that work there at WONDERFUL! I really enjoy the bookclub & crochet group meetings! Lastly, even if I don't use all that is offered at the Y, I do believe it is a wonderful place and I want to support it so others will have the opportunity to take advantage of everything you have.
