Friendly, family atmosphere. Social services that are above and beyond just fitness.
They are very helpful for children who otherwise wouldnt have the oppertunity
Swimming lessons and the instructors were great. But, the South Valley YMCA really needs a family changing room with stalls. There is no way I would send my 7 year old into the men's room alone, but I didn't have the option of bringing him into the women's room with me. What's parent to do?

The staff is friendly and you have a wide variety of classes at multiple levels and styles!
Nice classes, pleasant people, I suspect sometimes the decibel level (loudness) is too high for hearing safety. But The facility is clean and safe, and there are lots of classes to choose from.
