Sherry Spangler's adult exercise program is doable and pleasant for my 85 yo body and soul. Her music makes our workout somehow pleasantly easier and her exercises are repeatable to use at home. eg: I can exercise my hip joints while brushing my teeth 3X daily!
My family enjoyed the Easter egg hunt this year. Well organized, and the separating of the age groups made it fun and stress free. Thank you!
The programming schedule is very accommodating to me as I work and have only limited time to go to the gym.
Also, the management - Thomas Russel listens to the members and trains his staff very well.
It takes me 25 min in one way though there are closer Y s , but it is o.k since I know that the personnel are respectful and member oriented. Thank you.
I’d love the swimming aerobics and the teachers and Sheri who enthusiastically teaches the senior exercise program
indoor pickleball and e-gym. I haven't taken the group exercise classes but they look fun and instructors seem really good.
The variety of group exercise classes offered for every exercise level and interest. Hike club is a great way to get outside and meet members outside of the Y. The amazing after school program and the program for people with cancer.
There is at least one program and/or activity for everyone. New programs and/or activities continue to be introduced at South Valley Family YMCA.

I feel like I can come to the Y and not be intimidated. When I take a class, we’re always encouraged to do as much as we are able, and to push ourselves, but that that may look different for each person.
Large workout areas. Great swimming program. Many options for classes
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We have special pickleball times and can sign up to use the court.
I would appreciate a lesser cost for seniors. We are on a fixed income.
The instructors are good and the people are friendly.
Pool is warm in winter and cool in summer. Weight room and machines are clean and available.
