Great instructors and great Zumba and hip hop instructor
Wonderful classes.
The staff are always coming up with new ideas, and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
I love playing acuatic volley ball
I enjoy the people and instructors are pleasant and knowledgeable.
Wish I could fit more classes in time available in the AM. Many overalap so have to make a choice which on I think is more important.
Everything- you are all fantastic
And kind to the old folks
The people are so friendly. It feels casual and laid back and happy, not intimidating like some gyms.
I enjoy swimming in an indoor pool. I've done this for many years at the Y, with some interruptions along the way.
There are two things I'd like to mention regarding the locker room: 1) would like the tile in the shower stalls to be kept up better. Last Friday I used a little baking soda and small brush to attack the darkest spots in the first shower stall. It looked somewhat better afterwards.
2) think it would be better to keep the entrance door to the locker room closed, to prevent drafts of cold air coming in and also to afford a little more privacy. I believe everyone who comes to excercise can manually open the door. It used to be kept closed many years ago.
Thank you,

The option to get training sessions with experts like Raj Ram are a real plus. I’ve not tried classes other than yoga but plan to ss tgere are multiple offerings
I love Zumba with Rosemary.
I wish there was Barre with Nikka EVERY DAY.
I wish also there were pilates classes in the evenings, not just in the mornings.
And I used to love the body sculpt class on Wednesdays at 5:30, it’s a shame that changed :(
Lots of choices
I thoroughly enjoy the Senior Fitness class with Margo instructing.
I am able to get a workout that exercises all the major muscles and
I feel that it is beneficial for my body.
morning group exercise classes, although want more, especially so we can stack them. Weekday 9am and 10am medium intensity classes, like mat pilates + TRX, TRX + yoga. Also, please have the rower tuned up = it's handle needs repair, and the max resistance is weak
Good teachers and nice staff. I also like the diversity, cleanliness and programs for children.
Great teachers, especially zumba. I love the inclusive environment and diverse members and sense of community.
There are many programs and classes offered at the Sequoia YMCA throughout the day. There's something for everybody and the instructors are fun.
Variety of programs and time. Good instructors.
The gym and equipment have helped me rehab from 4 orthopedic surgeries over the years. My having access to them has been essential for my recoveries. I also very much enjoy the sense of community I have developed with other pool users.
The activities are targeted to various age and interest groups - for example Gold Zumba
What I like thr most about the sequoia branch is the feeling of community. I don't get that same feeling at other ymcas
i use the swimming pool frequently, enjoy it
Variety
I only use the pool, but even though it is fairly old, it is clean and well taken care of. I feel safe. The classes are perfect for my level.
The clean wonderful pool that is not too crowded and is the perfect temperature.
Not crowded classes with plenty of space to work out
Kind instructors and staff

As a Social Security recipient, I have very few extra dollars. And at 83 I am very happy to have the Older Adult exercise classes on M,W F. So even though it is expensive for me, I will continue to attend for as long as I can. The teachers, Elaine, Margo and Julie are superb. And there is one other teacher, whose name escapes me, who is also superb. The people who attend the group are friendly and we support each other.
That is the only use of the Y for me at this time.
