S taff are frenly and is clean
They have an Excellent staff all the way from the Director Ana to Carmen at the Front desk. You feel like part of the YMCA FAMILY. I have participated 35 years. I have One Pass but I choose to stay at the East Valley YMCA. Great Job East Valley Y.

Our whole family loves the team at east valley. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Feels like a family. My dream come true would be a hot tub added for recovery. The outdoor rock climbing area doesn’t seem to be in use anymore so that could be a great spot for a hot tub. Also maybe some jump ropes would be cool. A few more ankle straps for the cables. And hopefully some evening yoga classes will be in the works.
We love how clean everything is all the time. The cleaning crew is perfection. We always tell our friends and family to join.
I enjoy coming to a clean and safe environment. Everything from the interior of the gym to the exterior of the parking area is always maintained clean. I appreciate and admire the staff at East side YMCA for truly caring for our community. By greeting and smiling every member and being respectful and welcoming to everyone that walks in thru the doors. I might be anti social and I don’t talk much but I pay attention to detail. This YMCA truly lives by their motto! Love and except everyone.

I really enjoy the variety of programs that East Valley YMCA offers. It is quite evident that East Valley has made a conscious effort to increase their offerings and members have noticed and have expressed their satisfaction.
As an elderly member with painful joints, I like the Aqua Fitness workouts.
Swimming
I love everything the EVYMCA is doing. Staff is friendly and amazing. Everything is clean. I can see the same family oriented dedication that existed when I was a member in middle school, high school, and an employee.
It would be nice to have a few more bench/squat racks in the weight-room. Also, it seems like there are less machines and treadmills than before. It would be nice if we got some of those back. It would also be nice if the gym opened a little earlier in the morning. I have also witnessed a lot of people not washing their hands after using the restroom.
