My Daughters math grades have improved. The staff is friendly.

However, the Mathnasium location is near an area with a lot of transients and the parking lot is not safe. I have witnessed several altercations, melt downs, over intoxicated individuals, and inappropriate behavior.

Our child's math scores increased within 6 weeks of being at Mathnasium. Her math confidence and competence also increased. She looks forward to her time alone with personalized help twice weekly. She had standardized tests at her school after being at Mathnasium 8 weeks and she didn't dread having the tests. She actually recalled what was on the standardized tests at school versus forgetting what was on the test due to fear and anxiety. In the eight months we’ve been coming to Mathnasium we’ve never had an issue with our son not wanting to come. This is exceptional since he does not enjoy any of his core curriculum classes at school.
