Alamance Eldercare put me in touch with CarePatrol where I talked to Danielle and within the day she had a place for mom to go, The Oaks of Alamance. It was such a relief, I got a great night's sleep that night! Thanks so much for offering such an amazing resource.
My sister and I needed to find an assisted living facility for our 89 year old mother. The process of looking on your own is like a full time job but with no instructions on how to go about it. CarePatrol took much of our stress away and set up all the visits for us after meeting with us and getting to know our needs. I have already given two friends their contact number.
Danielle was very helpful. She helped us last year but we had decided to try to keep dad a home. Now it was rally time to find a place. We were able to place my dad with what we believe is a great match for his needs. She was very patient with me and my family as we ask question and toured places.
Very resourceful Senior Care Consultants (Greensboro & Durham).
Informative & assisting in every area necessary to get love one to appropriate care. Really helpful in keeping the entire process step by step, clear, complete & less stressful . A Wonderful service!
Thank You to All
It is our great, good fortune to have been guided by Danielle Meaux in finding memory care that fits my brother’s complex set of needs. Being 62 years old and diagnosed 3 years ago with moderate Alzheimer’s, he was the youngest and 1 of 4 male residents at a memory care facility. In July 2022, he began exhibiting periodic aggressive behaviors toward staff. On January 18, after having struck the staff person attempting to shave him, he was discharged and sent me with him to the hospital Emergency Department where the social worker connected me by phone to Danielle with CarePatrol. Within 2 days, she had reviewed the memory care facility’s reports on my brother, spoken with the ED nurse on her observations of my brother, and set-up appointments for my wife and me for the following week with three potentially safer facilities (more male residents and staff specifically trained to manage behavioral issues). Danielle had accompanied our tour of each facility and would call the ED nurse to alert her on when to expect the facility’s nurse to conduct my brother’s assessment. It was obvious to us that Danielle has a warm history and respectful relationship with each facility’s Sales Director. The assessment results and local management had determined they could care for my brother, but corporate level management would not approve due to his record indicating a potential safety risk for other residents. Danielle had communicated this very disappointing news and with sincere empathy for my brother having been in the ED for 8 days. She offered the strategy of pursuing independent, rather than corporate-owned, facilities. On day 10, she had arranged for us and her to tour an independent memory care facility on Saturday that has several male staff, on-site medical services, and individualized care plans. By Monday, we moved my brother into his room and Danielle was there to welcome us…of course!
CarePatrol is a truly caring, knowledgeable and helpful company that takes the burden of finding a solution to medical/assisted living needs for families when they are already overwhelmed with the situation.
Danielle M. has worked so hard to accommodate us for all of the tours we wanted to do (we wanted to be thorough). She and Reba were great about putting together tour schedules. Also, communication has been awesome - she is responsive and keeps us in the loop.
