Amy Smith was an incredible help and I don't know how I could have navigated the situation with my parents without her. I live in Colorado and CarePatrol was recommended to me by the Lorain County Office on Aging as it became apparent that my parents weren't going to be able to stay in their home for much longer. Amy really educated me on the system and how things would work financially. I had many questions along the way and she always responded so quickly. She was also caring and compassionate in helping my mom through tours of various facilities. Things really took a turn with my dad when he fell and broke his hip before Thanksgiving. This expedited the need to have a facility selected when he was released from rehab. The move into the facility happened on Christmas week and even with the holidays, Amy was incredibly responsive and helpful in recommending a mover that could make it happen on short notice. The mover was great too. What an incredible resource. I don't know how I would have been able to handle everything without Amy and CarePatrol.

With never having to place a family member in an Assisted Living Facility in the past, I wasn't sure what the first step should be. Once I made the call to CarePatrol on the advice of my cousin's physician, everything went extremely easy. Eric Sailor made a difficult process so much easier for my wife and I and also our cousin. He set up appointments at facilities that would best fit her needs and also provided us with a list of realtors and moving companies to aide us in selling her home and moving her into Assisted Living. He goes with you to visit the facilities. The people that were given to us were beyond helpful, especially, since she lived in her home for over 30 years. I would recommend CarePatrol to anyone that needs help in placing a loved one into an Assisted Living. Eric goes above and beyond to help you. He is not only helpful but very compassionate to the needs of the family and the person being placed into an Assisted Living.
Julia guided us through an extremely stressful time trying to find living arrangements for parent with Alzheimer’s. We started doing online searches and got conflicting information. Once CarePatrol was contacted they helped navigate the confusion and information overload. We contacted her constantly and she was always responsive and caring. She narrowed the facility down to a handful then set up appointments to visit them. Julia went with us to tour several facilities giving honest opinions about whether our needs were going to be met and whether they were a good fit for our situation. More families need to know bout this program and utilize them!

Once I realized the living situation for my father and his wife was deplorable and unsafe, I asked to speak to a social worker while he was in the hospital. Very quickly Kayla Flowers called me. She seemed empathetic. I don't live in OH and had to travel back and forth but very quickly we found an assisted living center for them to move into. She also directed us to a liquidator for their home and answered questions we had to our satisfaction. I enjoyed working with Kayla and even though it was exhausting and difficult getting them moved, I feel like it was Mission Accomplished.

Julia was as good as it gets in terms of knowledge of facilities and communities in the area and pros and cons of each. She toured three communities with me and helped me decide on the Winfield. She always offered more help and to call when needed and even Video taped the new apartment so I could show my sister. I will recommend Care Patrol to all of my friends in Cleveland.

I was only inCleveland for two weeks - for my own medical treatment @ CC!! But my mother had been hospitalized for a few days and most likely needed to move to assisted living after her stint at skilled nursing. My siblings and I knew this day would come, but how to even start looking? And which places, without being able to visit a lot of places?
Enter problem-solver Lisa McCaffey, with her eeassuring demeanor, wide knowledge of the places we were looking at, years of experience, and exuberant personality.
The second facility I toured (and first on her list) was better than I’d hoped for. Lisa also gracefully liaised between the skilled nursing facility, the director of community relations at the facility, ny siblings and I to make a smooth transition for my mother. Care Patrol also has other resources and support we may need in upcoming months, and Lisa has already started those communications.

From start to finish, Kayla did an amazing job of helping us find the right assisted living home for my dad. She is very knowledgeable of the Northeast Ohio senior community options, attentive, and responsive. She was also very flexible, able to switch gears quickly when we had to change the requirements of the desired senior community due to changes in my dad's needs. I highly recommend CarePatrol to anyone who needs to find a senior community and doesn't want to spend valuable time trying to research and vet options, schedule viewing appointments and even negotiate.

CarePatrol was an invaluable resource at a very stressful and emotional time for me and my family. I had to move very quickly to place my parents — one in memory care, the other in assisted living — and it was tricky to find availability for both in the same overall facility. Kayla was so empathetic, listened carefully to our needs and gave me just enough choice without overwhelming me. She took care of a lot of initial coordination with the facilities on pricing etc, which freed me up for other things. I’m was so relieved that she could help me place both parents — even though she was initially only contacted about my Dad who was hospitalized at the Cleveland Clinic.
I was skeptical, but my representative was the perfect blend of social worker and giving me the bottom line advice I needed. Totally accessible and insightful. I would totally recommend!
Absolutely everything! Leah was exceptional. She was so helpful and caring. She dealt with my brother in the most understanding way. He can be very difficult, especially if he thinks you are making fun of him or looking down at him. She was a pro at it and genuinely wanted to make him happy. Anytime I contacted her she would answer us so quickly. She never left us hanging. My brother left our first meeting happy and very excited about moving in the facility. I would recommend this company and Leah to anyone. We were in a desperate situation with his lack of funds. So glad the hospital nurse suggested your help. His life will be so much better living there and having his meds regulated. Thank you CarePatrol and Leah for a job well done!!
My Care Patrol contact was so responsive, knowledgeable, and empathetic. She helped me every step of the way, empowering me with information, answering questions (about facilities, medicare, how the process 'usually' works, and more), providing options, making recommendations, meeting in person and acting as a liasion with assisted living directors, and ultimately supporting me in making a decision for my mom's care. I really don't know what I would have done without her! She helped keep me grounded and focused during what was a very challenging time.

I was faced putting my 102 yr old
mom in Assisted Living quickly after a hospital stay. Care Patrol was here for us! They presented options of facilities to visit and journeyed with us finding the perfect fit. Explained everything to do to officiate the move. It was a very hard decision being the daughter and caregiver for years, Care Patrol also provided choices for movers and help with insurance application. I feel we were in the best hands. Care Patrol made a scary situation comfortable. Highly recommend this team of professionals!
