When I first joined when you opened New the counter staff was fun and inviting and made you feel comfortable and welcomed. People have left the teachers are hit and miss. It just feels different coming in now. But I still like the concept of group fitness so in the meantime will keep coming

I like that the workouts challenge me and the app is great at keeping me accountable. I never pushed myself as much as I do at orange theory.
The cleanliness of the studio has really gone downhill in the last 2 months: the studio, washrooms, floors, doors, mirrors and everything used to be spotless.
There have been numerous times where the bathroom is out of soap & toilet paper, that is both disgusting & a huge health hazard!
The classes & coach’s are what keep me coming back. The condition of the studio is what is going to drive people away.
The reception upon greeting me, the premise, the equipment, the coach, the workout was all amazing. My home gym is West Broadway but I live in North Vancouver and often attend the classes there as well. I will be coming back more often to North Burnaby! Thank you.
Variety of exercises especially on the floor section. I like the incorporation of bands, TRX. bosu ball and the bench.

You need instructors that are better ar watching the floor exercises for better form and not just talk about orange zones. Sometimes your instructors just think they are pushing to get to orange.
I love the workouts and the community! The 1 hour flies by and you get your total body workout in. The coaches and staff make this an amazing studio as well.
My hesitation in referring OT to a friend is not something that I think OT can improve. OT caters to a person with some fitness knowledge and certainly to someone who would be dedicated to learning more. A newbie to fitness, particularly someone a bit older, could not perform many of the floor exercises, even when modifications are offered. There is great potential for injury. There is not enough time in the demonstration of these exercises to explain form: how to hold the weights or where to place the arms or about bracing the abs, etc.
I am almost 60 years old and I have been seeing a personal trainer fairly consistently for the last several years. I still have trouble with proper form. On Tuesday of this week, there was an exercise in which we had to get into a high plank position with our feet on a bench and then alternately lower each leg to the floor on either side of the bench. I didn't even attempt the exercise. Instinctively, I knew that I would do the exercise incorrectly. I did mountain climbers instead.
Whenever I tell my friends about OT, I always tell them how much fun I have because I do have a lot of fun and feel very proud of myself at the end of the class. But I do caution them about knowing how to do floor exercises and how to row.
It’s never the same so I never get bored
Use better music (less dj versions of decent songs)
It's expensive. I'm luckily able to afford it but that is a barrier to me recommending it to others.
Other than that it's great .
Variety
It was different in terms not knowing what to expect in a full class of running. There was enough variety in that Treadmill 50 to keep me engaged and challenged. Even though I know I could've backed down and maybe taken it easy, it pushed on. I'm definitely feeling it the next day.
Enjoy the workouts and the staff. Booking class holds me accountable to show up. Don’t have to think about my workout I’m coached through my workouts! Staff is amazing! Love OTF!
