The guy that cut my kid’s hair was very good at dealing with him. My kid hates haircuts and is never satisfied after a haircut. He walked out smiling.

The stylist (Shelby) listened and paid attention to my asks, and executed it perfectly.

Our experience with Kristi was great. I took both my boys (12 and 9) on separate days and both told me how much they liked her and the haircut, which is a rarity for my boys as they dread the haircut experience. She made them feel comfortable and relaxed and listened to their request on what they wanted. We will definitely go back to see her.

My son and I have found our go-to barbershop a few months ago. Each haircut for both of us has been very good until our last visit. Charnelle wasn’t working the one day we were home after traveling for Christmas and leaving again for Kansas City but she is amazing for me. Neither was James who has cut my 4 year old son’s perfectly before. My haircut was great but my son’s haircut by Phillip was unsatisfactory.
I’m not sure why it was a disaster because I showed him photos of Jame’s cut & instructed a scissor cut with clippers to be used for neckline cleanup only. Phillip was quick and confident when he said “got it” so we both sat down for our 2:00 appointment. After walking to Pei Wei to pickup dinner I noticed missing chunks, a line halfway around his head from even cuts, and bangs chopped off.
We’ve had a bad experience elsewhere before but this time Kayla spotted me walk back in and show the front desk his hair. I was very upset & disappointed before our vacation. Kayla was so great. She calmed me by saying I didn’t have to say another word because she could tell in instant the haircut was really bad.
I want to thank Kayla for making things right & jumping immediately into doing what she could do to retain us as customers. I will continue to be a patron of Floyd’s entirely because of Kayla & Charmelle has given me best haircut I’ve had since I had my regular stylist in a fancy Austin salon.
Thank you - we will see you all again in a few weeks.
