I hope I have the stylists name correct - I think his name is Alex. He always does an excellent job. My son who is a senior in HS also goes to the North Loop location. We both enjoy coming here for our haircuts. Pretty much any stylist does an excellent job at the North Loop Floyd's.

What do you like about our people, products, and services?

Not a huge fan of pricing tbh, but I'm such a huge fan of Phoebe, so I guess I'll just keep coming back. Her consistency and cuts are so sharp and on point that I'll usually just hold off if she's not available to get a cut when she is around. Other than that though specifically with the uptown location, from desk staff hasn't been the best all of the time... But I feel like this feeling has been rectified by the front end staff in the North Loop mpls location.

Phoebe is amazing. I’ve known them for a long time and worked with them at other salons. They’re a real technician. They got me in when my normal hairdresser left me high and dry and I love my hair!! Normally very picky but I knew they’d get me right. Thanks Phoebe

My son is 14. He has some emotional and behavioral diagnoses and is on the Autism spectrum. He has a lot of sensory sensitivities. Historically, the sounds at the salon or barbershop would be very overwhelming for him. He is also extremely picky and hyper focused on his hair. He’s started to mature out of some of the anger and self-injurious behavior that used to follow getting haircuts, but still struggles with being really picky about his hair. He sees Phoebe at the North Loop. She is the only stylist that he has ever liked, as a person and a stylist and is the only one that he wanted to go back to. The first time she did his hair, he said he loved it, liked her a lot and asked if he can keep going back to her. Of course, I jumped for joy internally because the haircut thing had been such a problem for so long, I would have to brace myself for impact leading up to his appointments and for weeks afterwards! He’s been nothing but happy with her and her work every time. Her calm demeanor and open minded, accepting approach with him is a huge part of why he enjoys seeing her and wants to go back. He said that she listens to him and doesn’t just treat him like his opinions on his looks don’t matter. He thinks she’s “The G.O.A.T” and brags to his friends about how cool his stylist is. He also gets a ton of compliments whenever she does his hair, and she shows him how to do it himself at home. Long story short, we love her and will always keep coming to her!! It means a lot to me as the parent, that my son feels so accepted by her.

An amazing atmosphere! Very relaxed, but the staff still continues to act very professional and friendly to all! I would recommend to ANYONE, male or female presenting, and I guarantee they would meet your needs.

Phoebe at the North Loop location is AMAZING! They always give the best haircuts, listening to what we are looking for, and offering great advice. They are very pleasant and kind and calm and we love coming to see them! My daughter especially enjoys talking with Phoebe and learning how to best manage her hair: from growing out a half shaved head, to a full shaved head, to changing up styles or products!

Haircut was done nicely and as directed. Stylist was very personable and efficient. The price is quite high as I can get the same cut at Great Clips was a lot less.
