The team at Floyd's is always welcoming, kind, and friendly. As a somewhat gender non-conforming adult with gender, non-conforming children, Floyds is the best place I've been in Colorado for hair. They listen to what we want, they don't presume anything, they don't try to feminize or masculinize a haircut or style.
My regular barber is Emily at Longmont and I recommend her to all of my friends. Not only is she an all-around delightful person, she listens to what I want and provide suggestions if she thinks that it may not be the best choice. Both she and Wendy have been fantastic when working with my ASD teenager who really struggles with haircuts and hair care in general. Families like mine really appreciate a shop and a team that understand that it's "not just hair", in particular when you are dealing with younger people who are still figuring things out.
We saw Wendy over the weekend and I cannot say enough about how lovely she was to work with. My teenager went from a long haircut to a short haircut for the first time in many years. She prepared the hair for a donation, was sensitive to the fact that hair is culturally important for many people, and took time with my fairly nervous child.

Ricky is the best! He has been cutting our son’s hair for a couple years now and it’s always stellar! Ricky is easy going and our son enjoys shooting the sh!t with him and catching up. Floyd’s is always clean as well and front desk is friendly.

Friendliness and Customer Service

While I have been working with a single stylist for a while now, I’ve always been impressed with all the stylists there. I’ve never had a bad haircut!

My sons are very particular about their hair styles and Stephanie always, always listens to their input. She will also work with my boys on haircare and why something may not look they way they want (curls vs straight hair). I can't say enough positive things about Stephanie and Floyd's.

Only place I go to get a cut and I have never had a bad haircut or experience here ever. Absolutely 11/10 will always be back. For me it’s a big deal to have my hair done right and Floyd’s has always done the best and more!
