Amanda H is my Stylist at the Lafeyette Shop. I've been going to see her for haircuts going on a couple of years now and have recently started bringing my five-year-old grandson with me. She always has an enthusiastic attitude which makes going to see her a fun experience (now for the both of us). More importantly, though, Amanda is a skilled Stylist and capable of delivering any number of great looks, which is important to me as I like to change it up once in a while. The shop is set up well, the service is always timely, and they are always playing great music!

My experience getting a haircut at Floyd’s Barbershop was a +10. To begin, I was offered a $10 off my first visit to Floyd’s while I was watching the Denver Nuggets destroy the Phoenix Suns online. Man, did I need a haircut. So I decided to cash in on this offer. I signed up with a barber by the name of Violet having read her very upbeat, positive self-description on Floyd’s website. And boy did she ever deliver-via a combination of professionalism and friendliness. She was so easy to talk to. And she got me talking about some life experiences I don’t normally tell people about. And it’s hard these days to find really good, active listeners who pay attention and are so easy to interact with. I think she would make a great counselor – therapist. She was that amazingly good! In fact, after I paid for the haircut and they did honor the $10 off, I embarrassingly walked over to her and gave her a five dollar bill apologizing saying that was the only cash I had on me. She very graciously accepted my tip and I said whenever I come back here I’m requesting Violet. She said she hadn’t worked that long at Floyd’s and was slowly building up her clientele. My sincere hope is that this feedback helps get her customers. Is she ever worthy of being praised! And this is my way to adding to her tip! So three cheers for Violet and +20 new customers! 👏
