Stylists are very mindful of gender identity and the idea that a haircut can be a gender-affirming experience. I recommended Floyd’s to a lot of my trans and genderqueer friends knowing it has always been a safe space for me.
My stylist (Josh) is also always responsive to feedback and works with me to arrive at a style I’m happy with.

Staff are genuine and they don’t act like they’re too good to help you. The people here really make me feel comfortable and that’s something I haven’t always gotten when I get my haircut

I really like getting my hair cut there and that of my children. A week ago, I took my two kids for a haircut and I really enjoyed it as always. But unfortunately after a few days I went to have my hair cut too, and I noticed a great discomfort from the professional when cutting my hair. One thing that came to my mind was. Either he's going through a rough day, or he's quite annoyed seeing dandruff on my head lol that's what I thought. I may be wrong in my point of view, but that's what he gave me. I was pretty embarrassed, but that's ok. Other than that, you are excellent professionals.
