Joel is absolutely the best thing going there. Normally don’t enjoy talking while getting service done, but he makes it easy and not awkward. He is very good at what he does. I’ve had service done with other stylists and barbers at Floyd’s before but it hasn’t come close. I come back specifically for Joel. He remembers topics I enjoy, how I like my cut done. Means a lot.

Floyd’s diverse staff allow for Floyd’s to be a one-stop shop for people of varying hair textures. I have very thick straight black hair, and I found out through word of mouth that Nena is is excellent with this hair texture. I’m very happy with her cuts.

I am 84 and Ya Ya is one of two favorite barbers of my life. She takes and makes sure all is well.

The people at the wicker park location are all super friendly and talkative, and they work quickly! Always happy when I walk out of there. I love the variety of products they offer as well. One trip and i'm good for a while! Reasonable price for a quality cut.
