I was there two days ago. It was the first time in several years that I got the traditional Floyd’s experience. It was unhurried, unrushed. They didn’t reluctantly ask if I wanted the shoulder massage or the shave (which makes it sound like they’re gonna be bothered if you say yes) she just did it like they always did in the past. I don’t know if anything changed over there, but it was textbook. It was the Perfect Floyd’s experience that I had experienced over the past 12 years of coming there quite consistently.

I appreciate being treated like a human. Most folks take one look at me in my wheelchair and assume that I'm a homeless drug user coming in to beg (not at all true). I've never had that problem at Floyd's.

Dani is awesome. She’s fast, talented, and I trust her completely. Online booking is easy, and it’s great to be able to book an appointment without having to wait two weeks!! As a busy mom, sometimes I realize I need a haircut badly and don’t want to wait 2-3 weeks for a stylist’s availability. I appreciate the quick turnaround from booking to appointment!

The problem with this last visit was that I booked it online as a Floyd’s Cut for $41 and a $6 shampoo. The stylist was immediately upset as our appointment was at 7:35pm and she said this was not a Floyd’s cut and why did the computer let me book it so late. She cut his hair, begrudgingly, and charged me $48, saying it was too long to be a Floyd’s cut. It was not long, below his ears, but it was overgrown. The other Floyd’s location has always charged $41, I told her to check the record. She finished by 8pm, so it took 25 minutes. She rushed it and wasn’t pleasant about it. I had to pay what they wanted and still tipped her nicely.

I had the pleasure of getting my haircut with Ali at Floyd’s 99 in Studio City, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! Ali is an incredible barber who truly knows how to work with hair. She took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and delivered an amazing cut and style. I felt so comfortable the entire time, and the results were beyond what I expected. If you’re looking for someone who’s not only talented but also personable and professional, Ali is definitely the one to see! Highly recommend!

Arpine has a wonderful and caring disposition and knows her trade well. I rely on her wisdom and feedback.

Dalana has been cutting my hair for about a year now. Always a great cut and beard trim. She takes specially good care of my beard. Making the edges nice and clean and finishes off with a straight razor shave around the beard and on the back of the neck. Always get nice compliments right after my appointments.
