It was nice to have somebody on staff that openly used words like gender affirming in their profile. It can be very awkward going into a random barbershop, and sometimes dangerous, and asking for services as someone who does not conform to the standard female identity. Floyd’s has always made me feel safe and has allowed me to explore different ways of expressing myself. I’m nearly 42 years old and I’ve only just now just starting to feel comfortable in my own skin (and hair). Thank you for that.
