Monday, Sept. 11 was my grandaughter First name removed's first PreBallet/Tap lesson at the Oakland studio with Ariel. Ariel is fabulous! Her creative, enthusiastic and experienced teaching techniques are extraordinary and she clearly enjoys her work.
We spent more than one year at the Lafayette studio in the same Mon. morning 9:50 PreBallet/Tap class with Maitland and I (along with several other parents) were less than underwhelmed. Perhaps the instructor's morning commute contributed to her attitude and lack of interest. Perhaps it's lack of experience. I'm just thrilled we made the change despite a longer drive. I like the effort that you put into every theater performance. I don't see the same effort in some of the other theater programs.

We love the variety of classes, and for different age groups, that you offer. Your teachers are fantastic! They are attentive, patient and highly skilled professionals. Also your administration manager, Jamie, is an efficient and sharp person with great listening skills. She helps to clarify confusions and fix the bumps in the road! Your camps are great! Wonderful sets and costumes. Performances are so well done without being stressful for the kids. My daughters had so much fun this summer. And we love teacher Ariel!!

Great approach to teaching children dance. Fun and geared towards kids. Not too uptight or rigid. Nice balance challenging the kids but not drilling them , which can take the joy out of learning.
