Very good service and reasonable prices

Metal was cut in a timely manner and was delivered as expected.

The true test of a company's "metal" ( no pun intended) is how they handle a problem when it arises. This was the first job going to Metal supermarket for us. From the first contact on the phone to quote to ordering I was very pleased how Angel dealt with us. His was not the lowest quote, but I wanted to work with him, he made a few adjustments. He got the order. The job was completed and delivered earlier than expected, but..... this is where the problem came in. The thick steel plates were cut to size, holes and knotches were good, but, the bottom cut edges were not ground and were sharp. This was something we specified NO SHARP EDGES. I contacted Angel and he was understanding, apologetic, willing to work something out.

Admitting the error,and his handling of the problem was totally acceptable to us. I would very much like to continue using Angel Hernandez and METAL SUPERMARKETS in the future.

I came in with my 19-year-old son, who wanted some tube and bar stock for a small personal project he was going to start working on.
The gentleman who helped us was extremely accommodating and did not make us feel embarrassed about wanting a few pieces.
Told us we could buy just what we wanted (not more than we needed for the project)

While the product wasn't inexpensive, you had what we needed, and the service was top-notch. It was very much like going to a traditional lumber yard or hardware store (that's a compliment!)

My son is studying Mech. Engineering @ URI, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if your store received future visits from us!

Availability

The online menu is super easy to work from. The UI is straight forward. The metal Supermarket library is pretty big, and so finding what I typically need is easy. The store customer service is friendly and knowledgeable. I have never had a bad experience. When I come to pick up my order, I’ve rarely had to wait more than 5 minutes. The prices are very reasonable- in my opinion.
