Friendly clean and has a lot to offer.
The lack of urgency around fixing anything is disappointing to say the least. The TV's have been off the walls in the weight room for months! That may seem small, but that lack of urgency resonates throughout the gym experience. The sauna wasn't nearly warm enough today, the pool is closed and there was even a locker with a "do not use" sign. The shower was the highlight of my trip. If it weren't for the downtown Y or the reciprocity with the cranberry twp. Y I would consider looking elsewhere. PLEASE MAKE THE SAUNA HOTTER!!
If you are out of money to fix the pool then perhaps you're paying too much in wages. I can hang "out of order" signs during my next visit if that helps.

Best place for workouts
The mens locker room amenities as far as the steam room and clean towels. The place is always clean and all the staff is friendly and ready to help.
The hot water in mens locker room should be more consistent, there ae dayswhen it is cold.
The Y is a great place for people who are serious about their health and well being and want to be around like people.

The great service people ! The stage makes you feel comfortable and good 👍 I come on Mon , Tue , and Wed 7:00 to 9:00 ! The staff is the best !
I love the ymca. The facility needs to be a 24/7 operation though. We pay too much in membership fees
I don’t participate in many, but appreciate how many options are available for people. I am glad racquetball is still available locally because almost all courts in our region have closed.
We need a more in depth survey so we can share our opinions…..Nobody requested feedback from members prior to the 2024 remodel! Why?
I like the central location, and all of the activities provided to include the new Wednesday 6am yoga! It is AMAZING.

My favorite part of the Downtown Central YMCA in Youngstown, Ohio is they always have Homework done. My child and Students have learned soo much from the staff. Homework skills, learning to swim, friendships and many many more skills. They have also do different classes that not only help the mind but the body. The Front desk always welcoming, the Building is always clean and sidewalks ready for the weather. With classes for my child I’m also happy to build my strength and skills.

The Central YMCA is a membership organization, respite and retrea. Its athletic programs include yoga, spinning, basketball and aquatics. There are two swimming pools used by high school swim teams in the area to include a Y home team, a Masters Swim Team and lessons for children and adults to include older adult swim aerobics classes.
The Y has a strong Christian foundation based on love and service.
I swim Mon. Wed. & Friday.
Friendliness of everyone and the staff is great.
The classes, instructors, variety weights, and machines. Lots of options and knowledgeable staff and passionate instructors.
I love the “Y” and all the classes but when will the sauna/steam room in the ladies locker room be fixed?

Back in Y from covid era. Everything looks about the same. Good job promoting wiping down equipment after use. Noticed most everyone doing so.
