Plenty of variety of activities to try.
I enjoy all the exercise classes, the options for kids to play at various rooms and in the pool, and the camaraderie enjoyed by friends during all these activities.
Great selection. Equipment is great
I love the Y. My one complaint is the removal of the wipes. I understand trying to cut costs. Since the removal of the wipes, I see more and more people not wiping surge equipment. It is gross. Maybe hanging signs and reminding people to wipe down the equipment.
I love everything about the YMCA ,The staffing is very nice and I always enjoy my workouts.
I go to the Davis Y almost every day and it is the best part of my day (along with a trip to the library).
Friendly atmosphere and always helpful
I'm relatively new member but the entire staff has been so friendly, from registering as a new member to Jill at the front desk helping me.
The facilities seems like it has so much to offer looking forward to exploring more of what is available.
Classes are great.
VERY professional staff!
Lots of room and equipment for training/exercise
Counselors are teaching my daughter a lot about athletics and social interaction.
I’d recommend the YMCA to all families!
The staff, members, equipment, classes and facility are phenomenal!!
How friendly everyone is! Pickleball is great
I am a fan of Aquatics. The Y has two swimming pools. The shallow pool hosts children learn to swim classes and adult aerobics. A lane or two stay open for anyone wanting a warmer swim temperature.
The deep pool hosts youth and adult swim meets to include Masters meets, coaching events and virtual open water swim challenges as well.
Friendly staff and very clean environment
Community atmosphere
A 40yr+ member…HFD for 30yr your facility downtown is the best. Worked for the city for 30 years and moved to another county after retirement. Still make the drive to work out downtown.
I try to swim three times a week @
the YMCA. I also use the Cardiac
Room.
The comradery of the members and staff.
Programs available are great, but there aren't enough choices and they seem to be dwindling.
Love the Y.
My dad grew up at the Y. I have been an off and on member for years, unlike my dad, who was a member nearly until he died in 2014.
Now my granddaughters, my dad's great-granddaughters are in the Neptune Swim Club. I am sorry to see racquetball and handball going away, but I play racquetball there once a week.
You have all the exercise "stuff" needed for long, hard heavy workouts, or quick, lightweight workouts.
As a former Golden Glove boxer, I really have an interest is some of the classes I see with heavy bags.
Hope to stay a member like my dad, until I die!!! Believe it or not, that is a positive statement!
Considering attempting to work there one day, as my post retirement job! We'll see.
Thank you for the vine.

(Ironically, years ago, I worked with Gary Krohn).
Good place to make new friends
Please try and open 24 hours thank you
It's clean.People are very cordial and respectful,also very friendly.Great atmosphere.And a healthy environment.
Friendly staff
I like that there is an array of quality equipment. I like that the staff generally is, or has been trained to be, accommodating to the members’ requests and willing to help.
I do not like there is only 1 pickle ball court available. It has been explained to me as to why additional courts can’t be put in the upper gym, a combination of the age of the gym floor and use for other activities, primarily basketball. However with the current popularity of pickle ball I think the Y is missing an opportunity to draw upon that interest.
Socializations
Great lap pool!
They'e accessible. Good equipment. Excellent instructors. Concern about hygiene. Friendliness.
My thing I enjoy most are the Pilates reformer classes. Debbie Mirone is an excellent trainer.

I am motivated to go mainly for the steam room and sauna. The bathrooms are disgusting tough. It smells so bad. Part of it is due to the bad hygiene of the visitors - you can’t change American culture I guess. Please do more to ensure bathrooms/locker rooms are kept clean and encourage visitors to maintain and clean atmosphere. Floors are just filthy and the smell is overwhelming.
Also - sick and tired of all of the nudity. Not very Christian like. It’s borderline homosexual and I’d like to see YMCA encourage visitors to stop walking around naked so freely.
