It really does feel like "family" --- I started with Cal-fit when it first opened in an old grocery store on Elk Grove-Florin Road in Elk Grove. Most of the trainers know me as do the folks who staff the front desk.
Members also know each ... maybe not by name all the time..... but from just seeing each other on a regular basis at the gym.

It’s not intimidating. There’s plenty of different options.

Love the upper level cardio area and very inviting outdoor space. Other member seem respectful and there to workout not hang out. Equipment seems up to date and well maintained.

Absolutely love the gym. All the staff are hardworking and great to be around, even with all the goofy restrictions they throw at them. many of the people in the gym are a delight and fun to be with.
I learned never to take the gym for granted, I am very grateful for it being open and how hard the staff work to keep it clean. I enjoy the weights and cardio. the only thing I don't like is having CNN or garbage like that on the televisions, I would suggest you put Crossfit games or other exercise like activities to encourage the watchers to work out and keep a fitness mentality before them. Also it will empower them to work out even harder and keep a healthy mindset, instead of worrying that the world is on fire. Even movie entertainment like Rocky and sports keeps the mind excited to work harder.

Nicest gym closest to me. Not that busy usually. Can get in and out quickly.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I like that there are so many ergonomic machines. It allows me to workout different muscle groups in a safe comfortable way. There are also a bunch of treadmills, ellipticals, and stationary bicycles to do cardio. Also, I feel the club has taken many measures to make members feel safe since the pandemic.
