Not too busy to use weight machines and cardio equipment
I am 72 years old and have been using my treadmill to walk as my exercise for the past few years. Two months ago, I decided to try the water exercise sessions at the Y 3 days a week instead. It is a much better exercise than the treadmill with much less stress on my legs. The instructors are excellent and the other attendees are friendly. I'm glad I joined the Y and the class.

The gym is really clean and everyone is super-friendly. I go to the
Darien's senior class on Thursday at 11:45----he is so much fun and I get a good all-around workout.
I also enjoy the senior luncheon and game day every month---Marta is so friendly and awesome at organizing events!

I like aqua fitness
I'm fairly new to the YMCA but have attended some therapy sessions through the V.A. There are Tai Chi, art classes & and I Rest that I have enjoyed. I also enjoyed the pickle ball clinic last weekend.
During my regular workout time at the YMCA I have utilized the track and have done some circuit training with some weights, battle ropes, etc. I have not had the chance to utilize the classes as of yet or the pool

They're geared to suit anyone of any age. Administrators are very helpful and nice. I have so much fun at our YMCA.

I participate in the water fitness program and the senior activities. There are so many options for fitness.

The programs and the activities are suited for me and my age group, the instructors are there to encourage and make the activities are done properly and safe
I love the AOA group classes and the senior social activities. I’ve met a lot of new people, get some exercise, and have fun doing it!
