The Y offers programs that designed just for people like me, seniors. The staff is very friendly and the hours of operation is idea, if you work or out. The instructors and trainers are very knowledgably, friendly and helpful.

I enjoy the variety of classes and all instructors are top notch

I like the indoor track for walking when it's too hot or cold.
this location is convenient for me and a tad easier to get to than Avon site sue to traffic/construction.
HOWEVER - the primary difference is your pool hours & availability are FAR SUPERIOR than Avon HRH YMCA.
Further, Ortho Indy YMCA has a MUCH cleaner locker room & pool area than HRH YMCA. I believe this is in great part due to Miss Lorriane at Ortho Indy YMCA. I rarely see anyone cleaning at Avon, while I see Miss Lorriane cleaning constantly here. She takes great pride in her work and follows the pool class schedule closely to ensure she's right behind a large class to keep it clean and safe.
I do still have my personal training at Avon since this is where I started and my package is. If the need arises to change, I would explore personal training at Ortho Indy.
I am grateful I tried Ortho Indy YMCA and that it's convenient and so clean.
The staff is friendly and greets me by name - this is nice at 7 AM :)

Love your group exercise classes. Instructors well trained and friendly. Staff at front desk always welcoming. Facility is always clean with plenty of activities.
We are very impressed and make the drive (we are actually much closer to Irsay and Athenaeum) because we find both a bright welcoming feeling and a great facility.

I really like that you have a variety of exercise classes. Different dance classes that fit different individuals and I really enjoy the strength training and body pump classes.

Great, clean environment with great workout classes & instructors!
I just go occasionally to exercise. I like seeing all the kids playing basketball together. Pickleball on Sundays is nice for those that can play it.
