Glad that you have indoor pickleball! I rejoined for this activity alone but I am excited to see what new classes you have now post-pandemic.

I like the teachers for the groups I am a part of. They are competent (especially Trudi and Marsha!) and friendly (Mary Anna). I also like the range of equipment in the workout room.

I like the instructors
Convenient location
Friendly staff
They YMCA is a great place for families to go and do something physical. There is something for everyone. I like to use the work out equipment and swim, while my boys like to play basketball in the gym. There is always classes available throughout the day at different Y's. I like to visit different ones because there is something I like different at each one.
The beginner adult swim lessons are SO GOOD. I am 29 years old and never learned to swim beyond a doggy paddle. I have been in the classes for one month and they are so gentle, helpful, and encouraging. I was. nervous that it was going to be too fast or too aggressive. On the contrary, I feel that the classes are gentle and trauma informed. The instructor is so great at being encouraging while also correcting and meeting students where they are. Further, he does a great job at warning "if it is okay I am going to touch your back. Okay, I'm going to touch your back now." It is very trauma informed and I was impressed by that. I have been raving about the quality of the swim classes and I plan to keep taking them for a while. Worth every penny.
I don't use any of your programs as of yet. I am a new member and taking it one day at a time.
That they exist. I do not have time to make it up, still glad to know all is available.
Programs that are planned for my age and ability.

I don’t currently make use of anything other than the Wellness Center but I believe the Y offers many programs for folks like me who are senior citizens.
