Great instructors I only do Pilates but from what I've seen it's great place to workout

Water aerobics
I only participate in water aerobics. Jan is an excellent teacher. The water temp has finally returned to an exercise level. It was very warm for a while which is not healthy for cardio & lap swimming.

Programs are varied, pool and exercise equipment is great.
Relaxing atmosphere with good mix of ages of people. If you need help or how to use any of the equipment everyone is friendly.
Really only use the fitness area with weights and Treadmills etc.
Wish that there was more room.

Great classes and instructors, and the new weight machines are awesome!
The facility itself is very clean and the staff is very friendly. Love coming to the Y!

Classes
I really enjoy the workout room. The equipment is new, clean and high functioning. I also enjoy using the sauna and swimming pool.
Water aerobics is great but the downside is they cannot keep the temperature stable, one day 88 next 79.

The Y helps me fight Parkinsons every day. I go to a variety of classes - and I even sub for some - to keep moving! Activity, especially moderate to vigorous exercise 5-6 days a week for 60-90 minutes a day, can slow Parkinsons by up to 50%!

The facility is often too small for popular classes during season. With 500 more houses going in around it, that issue will only be compounded year round not just seasonally.
It would be very beneficial to add an ostentatious class. Many of the classes offered now are great for cardio and light weights, BUT they include exercises that are not good for those with a diagnosis of osteoporosis. We have an older population and need an osteoporosis class.

We like open swim lap lanes and the inside equipment. The staff is very friendly and helpful. (Especially Darlene and Darcy)
