I like the fact that there are programs & activities for all ages & differing levels of ability.

Your staff is very friendly and the gym equipment is in good shape

I always enjoy my time at the YMCA, both Englewood and Venice. Everyone is usually very respectful, for the most part, except for the occasional expletive from a.few of the members. The lack of enforcing the dress code is a bit disturbing. According to the internet, "shirts must be worn at all times in the gymnasium and other general areas. Any clothing considered an undergarment must not be worn alone. Sports bras (and I would argue leggings and the short underwear-like leggings) are considered an undergarment".

I only do cheer Yoga. I like the variety that Stanene leads us through in a short time.

Right now I’m not participating in any class, but I see and hear how the people who are participating are enjoying themselves. I enjoy what I do , which is the exercise equipment .

At 1st taking classes was so hard; today I love going to classes.

At 1st I was tired and low energy; today I am high energy.

At 1st it was another program to fit in my schedule; today it is the foundation for my new enegized lifestyle.

After living here for 20 years, joining the YMCA is par none the best lifestyle decision I've made.

I only use the pool. I love the water aerobics. Jan is a fantastic teacher and has really picked up the slack with Mary away.

Staneen is fabulous. She remembers everyone’s names, even the snowbirds. She is safety minded and makes sure all benefit from the exercise. All appreciate her expertise (we feel it), her care and her sense of humor.

Rick is resourceful and his enthusiasm is contagious. He share what he finds through his research and he has the BEST music.

Debbi M is a force I’ll never catch up with. She has fun and is like the energize bunny.

Love the Zumba Gold and Debbie the leader, she makes exercising fun! Also the machines are a necessity as we get older to keep us flexible.
