Convenient- times and locations. Nice families, nice staff, not overly competitive.
I appreciate the atmosphere. All of the staff and most of the parents understand that we're there for the kids to have fun regardless of which team is winning. Other youth sports environments tend to be overly competitive with parents often making negative comments towards or about children on other teams.
It is a program that integrates boys and girls and teaches them the basics. I like that. My son is very happy with the program. They should let parents see the achievements and progress of their children.

Coach Jason from cross country is an incredible coach. Even though he has a lot of runners, he knows each of them by name and treats them like individuals. He’s exceptional.

They are focused on the child. The coach/teacher treats all children as able to learn, succeed and participate.
My child gets grouped with other kids from her school so she has plenty of teammates she knows or that are in her class at school. We also like how the staff are helpful and friendly. It's great to get the weekly email reminders and the use of playerspace is helpful to check the schedule.
Steven and Abbie were great Leaders. Very smooth program for all grade levels.

Affordable, organized, schedule we can count on. Basketball refs in particular are knowledgeable and engaged and make it a good experience for kids.

Leah Farnham was a great coach. She brought a team together of all different levels. Mostly those who had never played. The girls bonded. The team grew each week. It was a wonderful season!!!

Absolutely fantastic coaches! The YMCA staff does an outstanding job of attending to and including every child of any ability.
The instructors are genuine, active, & humble. They are patient with the children and parents. They also contact you if you leave early or don't show up to make sure everything is okay. I especially love tuckahoe! Thank you for everything
My 12 year old son tremendously enjoyed playing futsal in the late Fall 2022 season. We hope you will offer this again!
