We had a great season with all of our coaches and teams. The coaches are clearly engaged and there for the right reason. Soccer and flag football are well run and details are clearly thought through.
Organization!
Christian values, activity for kids and affordable.
Great communication and sportsmanship! My son loved playing his first year of Soccer with the Shady Grove YMCA!
Very organized
My son took the basketball clinic for 7 to 8 year Olds and I thought the class was awesome. The main coach was great with the kids very enthusiastic and he gave them enough direction while still being fun and gentle towards them. I thought it was a great class for kids to get out the house an hour on Wednesday nights and get some exercise and have fun.
Very nice, super kind coaches and stuff.
Great atmosphere, encouraging for kids and families to stay active. Andrew Waring is a great cross country coach. Kevin too!!!!!

Variety of opportunities offered for my kids to participate in. Coaches and staff were professional in their communication and encouraging of my children throughout the season.
It was just a fun way to get our 3 year old out and about. It's nice to have something to do outside of school and the home. The team website was easy to keep up to date on any changes and schedules for each week.
The communication of the league and portal was extremely beneficial. Our coach was amazing as well.
I like how organized, the communication, & the volunteer coaches.I think it’s a very well run program. Most of all my son has a blast!
Overall experience was great.
There is one improvement opportunity I would like to share - this was our first soccer season and we enrolled our 3 children ages 7, 9, and 11. We started getting emails from the Y and coaches with details such as the team name, ball size, practice days/times, etc. but there was nothing in those emails that could help us link this information back to each of our children... I spent a lot of time to map the team name to each child and then go back and re-read each email to determine what was needed. I am hoping you can look at this and use it to improve the process for those in a similar situation to mine in the future. Thank you.
Very easy going and not so competitive just good fun for the kids and really helps them learn the skills and learn good sportsmanship
It was fun! The communication is excellent!

Good Coaches and ymca staff
It is the amount of effort that goes in to, organizing the kids sports events. I would like to highlight the patience and dedication of the coaches and the organizers.
