I really like having the high school kids running practices. The kids respond better to them than parents and they, most likely, have the best ideas for drill since they are current players.
I love that our team had a prayer for those that wanted to participate prior to the matches and also saying the YMCA pledge which emphasizes sportsmanship and integrity! It was fun and my daughter learned a lot!
Great volleyball program!
I have been s really appreciative and pleased with the sports activities that both my son and Grandson have participated in from the
YMCA
Recently. my grandson played.Flag Football
And it was a good experience for him
Unfortunately however it.jist had to be cut a little short
.
Thanks again

The community that it fosters! Thank you for doing what you do!
The staff is great. It's affordable.
It was well organized
There is a variety of sports offered to youth. It was a good experience for my 12 year old son who has not done any organized sports up until now. He looked forward to going and enjoyed the coaches and the other children he was with.
We loved Coach Doss. He was wonderful with the children. He promoted a team that respected each other and understood the fundamentals of playing soccer.
Availablility and fun.
Kid involved
Availability to sign up is way better than the YMCA near me.
Friendly staff, clean building and an overall fun and safe environment for family fun.
Easy to participate, good schedule (not too many meetings, program didn't run for too long).
You guys are all the best! Always feel like home there.
Greatly cared for, well organized, and great staff!
Youth soccer was awesome. Great coach!
My 4 year old did soccer this Spring and it was a wonderfully supportive environment. Our volunteer coach was wonderful and really encouraged teamwork. My son learned many skills during his experience
The people
I love getting to meet people in our community and seeing my kids have a great time with other children in our community. We loved Volleyball and basketball at the YMCA this past season.
Great people!
It was an easy, no pressure way for my daughter to learn volleyball.
My son loves the soccer program.
My 13 year old daughter just completed Thursday night volleyball. She had a great time. As a parent I love the fact that the Kid zone as open as i could drop my other two off and workout while all three were having fun. Thank you.
A suggestion for the volleyball. Their were a great number of participants. However the skill level was pretty diverse. Could we break the group up by ability and customize the coaching to match where they are in their development?
But overall as always a great program. Thank you!
The staff is amazing!
Sports programs - basketball
My son has loved all of the programs that he has participated in, and looking forward to the next season.
Overall, great. My one comment would be to end the pre-game sports prayer / pledge. It feels a l little off color to have kids "pledging before God". We're just trying to play some soccer and teach good sportsmanship. In this age of inclusion, why make any non-Christian kids or parents feel uncomfortable.
They are honest, family planned events. No hype, no craziness, just well planned programs. Can't say enough about how great all the staff have always been in any of the events we've been a part of. Thank you so much!

So inclusive and encouraging if the kids. This was my son's first time playing basketball and he learned the basics and was encouraged. I really enjoyed the games where the referees took the time to explain the calls. This just increased my son's understanding of the game.
