My daughter is on the POW soccer team coached by Coach Tad. It is her first time trying soccer and Coach Tad has made it a great learning experience for her. He makes sure all the kids on the team are supported and is a great model for what a good coach should be. We would definitely sign up again if we thought Coach Tad would be her coach.

I’ll recommend YMCA to anyone looking to help their child develop- physically? Mentally, and emotionally. My daughter started TBall here at Chester, and now she is on an 8U team playing softball. And she is good! Not to be bias :) Thank you, Chester YMCA!!!

The YMCA at Chester does an amazing job with their youth sports programs!

It was a good Spring Soccer season. Our volunteer coach was AWESOME - Coach Michael Bourke!

All coaches and staff were approachable and kind to the kids and parents

Our children have been attending the Chester Y Soccer since my oldest was 5 years old and he is currently 11. I love the way they can compete and also get the luxury of going to a tournament like other leagues. The coaches and staff at the Chester YMCA are absolutely amazing.

Courtney Wagner - She is such an amazing coordinator for the Y. Courtney is always available to work with and accommodating to everyone. She puts her heart into this program and I don't see anywhere else we would play both our soccer seasons. Thank you for everything she does on and off the field. It means a lot. And I don't think she gets the appreciation you deserve!

Plato - We have had the joy of Plato being the ref for the 7/8. He knows every kids name, coaches name and some of us parents. He is so likeable on and off the field. The kids love him and he is so kind and funny with them. He absolutely needs a raise!

Coach Courtney is FANTASTIC!!! We are SOOO glad she offers these great programs for the 18 - 36 month age range - there is nothing else like it in the community. She does a phenomenal job with the kids (and parents) and makes it a positive, fun experience for everyone. Thank you, Coach Courtney! We will definitely be signing up again and again!

My children participated in Soccer this spring (Spring 2024). Their coaches were excellent, the games were very well organized, and communication was clear and consistent. My children learned a lot, made some new friends, and most importantly had a lot of fun. We will be signing up again!

It was my daughters first time playing Basketball and she loved it. It was a great experience, she had an awesome coach, and the YMCA staff was amazing.

Having the ability to develop competitive skills with sports programs

Indoor soccer league at Chester was good. The coaches and officials were very nice and professional. The 9-10 years old should have been group together since not everyone had coaches.

I love them. The children have fun and share with other children and there are many activities that we can do as a family.

I love the outlet that Chester YMCA Sports provides our children. It supports children bonding with other children, promotes teamwork and good sportsmanship, and helps children develop trusting and respectful relationships with adults.

Great organization and teams. I would like to see baseball or tball come back to the ymca.
