Theo has done a great job with Orions swim lessons. He is excited to come in every week and learning a lot while having fun.

The class is 30 minutes long with six children and one instructor. Because of the group size, each child seems to have limited one-on-one time with the teacher, and much of the class time is spent waiting rather than actively learning. It feels more like water play than focused instruction.

Organization

The instructors are awesome, patient and good with kids.

Programs and activities are professionally handled. You feel safe at this Ymca.

There was an issue with the pool. However,it was handled very efficiently and respectfully. My son was offered an extra class because he missed his due to a child getting sick in the pool. I think that was very accommodating and they were very mannerable.l

Great instructors, great pools either at the YMCA or Carter pool. My son was looking forward to his lessons.

I like the attention to helping my children learn to swim. My three children have learned to swim so much better since taking the swim lessons at the Patrick Henry YMCA.
