What do you like about our real estate services?

Cori Anderson was very pleasant and professional. He understood our needs and didn't waste our time looking at properties that weren't well suited. His negotiating skills got us the home we wanted, with amenities, and a fair price. We felt he was working for us, not the seller.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

Our whole experience was disappointing. Cori was very eager to sign us, and once we signed with him, we never saw him again. He said he would hire a photographer to take professional photos and make up a flyer. He took a few photos to "get started" and posted the new listing with these bad photos, so the new listing was blown from the beginning. We ended up putting our own photos on the listing, and helped design the flyer, with the help of Kaci Ackley, his assistant, who by the way, was very helpful to us. We had to pick up our own For Sale signs, and we had to put them up. Cori did not show our house once. Once the offer was accepted, we did not get a pending sign, and once it sold, we did not get the sold sign put up. In fact, the buyer had to remove all of the signs that were still up when they took possession of the house. Cori did not show up for the closing, did not explain some things to us that eventually caught us by surprise during the closing, did not keep us in the loop during the closing process, did not even call us to congratulate us on the selling of our house. And to add insult to injury, we had to pay him 9,000 dollars. In contrast, our Oregon realtor was in daily contact with us, kept us in the loop every step of the way, was at our closing (she goes to all of her client's closings), and basically reaffirmed our belief that there actually are good realtors out there. We did not get a good one from Coldwell Banker Seal.

What could we do to improve?

The first pictures of the backyard showed knee high weeds. I remedied that and asked to have new pictures taken. While that was done. Those bad pictures were actually published on all the websites. Some of those websites never took the pictures down or replaced them with the good pictures of the backyard after the landscaping was done. I know those pictures would've been enough to keep me from looking at a house. My suggestion would be to look carefully at all pictures before publishing them as to the impact they would have on a potential buyer.
