Dr Cox was very professional and and informative about my treatments, procedures and side effects. Every question I asked was answered and explained to me as to what the treatments were designed to do what I could expect and if it was normal. The therapy staff was fantastic and put me at ease and made the treatments effortless. Everyone was so very accommodating and genuinely supportive during every treatment. I was greeted every single day by everyone and felt comfortable and confident by the being treated there.

What do you like about Brett Cox, MD and our office?

I was referred to the AUS office by my urologist after my routine PSA test indicated an elevated indication of cancer. I received excellent care in radiation oncology headed by Dr. Cox. I was treated with respect and was well informed of the treatment plan. I was given radiation therapy at 28 daily doses. I am currently awaiting the results of that treatment. I feel fortunate to be living in a time of advanced medicine where I have many tools to help fight this disease. I thank everyone involved with my treatment and wish all prostate cancer victims successful results with hope for a cancer-free life.

Dr. Cox keeps the patients’ interests first. He answered every question directly and clearly. He, and the entire team always had a smile and cheerful conversation to go with the treatment plan. He makes a difficult diagnosis easier to deal with. I can’t imagine another doctor or team could be better at this job.

I would have no problem recommending Dr Coc and his great staff to anyone. The things that go on upstairs is another story. But on the lower level, nothing but first class all the way!

Visiting an Oncology Center for the first time is a very stressful experience.
The apprehension, the unknown and the fear, all heightens as the patients and their families get closer to their appointment.

From the moment you stepped off the elevator, you realized that this was not a regular medical office. The calm and the lighting stand out most. It did not necessarily ease all your fears but it did cause a pause. Your focus changed from your situation, to a different environment than expected. This took the stress level down a notch and opened you to this might be different than what I expected.
All the office personal were friendly and accommodating. They made banter, again taking your mind off your situation. There was not long walt in any area and not a lot of time to rumiante in your fears.
All information provided was excellent. All questions were answered and time was taken to see you as a person. Printed information was also provided to reinforce the discussion. A plan was established, which was complicated. Your plan was gone over a few times so you could digest the steps and kinda understand. The office would set up everything for you and guide you through the process. There would always be a LIVE person to respond to any of your inquires. Doctor Cox and the staff gave you the confidence that they were looking out for you and you would be in good care. Definitely a good experience for a bad situation.
