Love the way i9 teaches sportsmanship very well. We've had a great experience so far. Only suggestion would be to find ways to get more coaches so that it does not come down to the wire each time?
This is my 5 year old son’s first year playing flag football and I’m thankful to have positive, encouraging and most importantly engaging coaches to guide this age group. We are now running mini routes in our living room and my son is asking when do we get to watch the 49ers again. Great coaches cultivate the love of playing the game, and because of this experience my son now loves football. Thank you.
The coaches and staff makes the children feels included especially when they are new to a sport. It is very encouraging for young players to be exposed and have fun while learning a new sport.
Our son is five years old and is new to flag football this season. The focus on fun and participation is great; the practice drills are his favorite since everyone gets equal turns and attention. Coaches are very friendly and inclusive, but during the actual games there should be a bit more structure to make sure each kid gets a chance to run a fun play. Kids sometimes rotate out without having touched the ball. Some times kids go through a whole game and their only contribution was doing a handoff. Know it's hard corralling 16 kids, but a little structure could go a long way to making everyone feel included, guided, and valued!
Thank you for caring about the concerns expressed by the parents of the league. Keeping this program family friendly and team friendly is what drew us to i9 and all we ever hear about this league. Excited to sign up for summer sessions too.
The coaches and staff are amazing! Super friendly and child-centered. I also like how the practices are on the same day as the game. This makes it easy for our busy family to commit. Communication via emails and text is consistent and thorough between the league and the parents. I always feel in-the-know.
