Our daughter developed hearing loss in grade 3, she was diagnosed and received hearing aids in grade 4, but it took some adjusting for her. She missed a lot of the math fundamentals those years and fell behind.
Half way through grade 6, she asked us if she could go to Mathnasium. She was assessed at a grade four level. In 9 months she learned all the fundamentals she had missed and was brought right up to where her class was and beyond.
We are so happy we made the choice to put her into Mathnasium!
The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Their willingness to not only work with my child, but also maintain a circle of communication between themselves, myself and my child's school, is admirable. We have loved our time at Mathnasium. Not only has my son improved significantly in his math skills, he has discovered an enjoyment of math and loves going to see the staff at Mathnasium East. They have fun while learning and the environment is so positive and encouraging. Where my son was getting BE (beginning) and AP (approaching) he is now consistenly getting ME (meeting) and very often EX (exceeding).. something he never would have dreamed of before Mathnasium. My child not only goes to her ‘math club’ without complaining, she has started to talk about numbers, math equations and counting, etc. throughout her day. This openness to work on and try things that are more challenging has been extremely important in helping her boost confidence and skills. WOW, thank you! The staff is also mature and friendly.

A friend recommeded Mathnasium when my daughter was struggling with math. I've seen her confidence grow and I'm delighted with her progress so far. I like the personalised study plan, progress reports and flexible drop in classes. The punch card incentive is also a great idea and helped keep my daughter engaged and driven to see her accomplishments rewarded :-). The staff are also welcoming and encouraging.
My kids really enjoy Mathnasium. They go without any fuss. It’s given them more confidence in math. It’s given them the foundations that they missed learning in school.

My son doesn't feel pressured there. He always feels good after each session, though he only joined one month ago.
My kid is improving and learning new concepts. The great thing is that the material keeps him engaged throughout the session and simultaneously developing his understanding skills. Seems to be effective and days are flexible. Teachers have been friendly. Wish it was a bit cheaper as it’s pricey for a group session.
