My daughter is in grade 10 and has been struggling with Math. I enrolled her in Mathnasium and she has been having a good experience so far. The environment seems positive and my daughter says the tutors are very helpful and she is getting a better grasp of concepts. She gets good explanations of her homework and how to solve the questions. So far going well.

Everyone there is very kind and make you feel comfortable, I’ve had a great experience so far. Anytime I’ve showed up, all the tutors there make sure you’re able to understand the concept you’re struggling with even when you believe you’re not capable of processing it. They break down everything for you big or small, and I personally believe all the pricing is reasonable for each designated grade range.
My daughter finished the first month at tri-cities location and she really likes it. She never complains going to this math class. The staff are very knowledgeable and super helpful to the kids. The manager is very approachable if you have a question or you need to meet her. Overall we are very happy with our choice and definitely recommend this place for kids.

The staff Sometimes they don’t help when she has a question and they don’t focus when we enter sometimes l told them she is here of course she sign in but for the parent comfort they have to focus when we compare with the price they have to give quality service thank you

Mathnasium has been a game changer for my kido with dyslexia and dyscalculia. Instructors really connected with my kido. Wish i started sooner. Best decision ever. Very patient. My kido is very happy and keeps asking why cant my school explain math like them.

It's been very good overall and my daughter enjoys attending and we are seeing results.
One concern I have is around feedback related to her use of instructor time. If there are concerns about pace, support needs or how sessions are being used, I would strongly prefer those conversations come directly to parents rather than to the child.
Children shouldn't feel responsible for over using a tutor and these discussions can create unnecessary pressure around learning. I'd appreciate future concerns being raised with us so we can support together.
Mathnasium has been very helpful for my kid's math learning. The teachers are all friendly and helpful, and know how to motivate kids in learning. Would highly recommend the centre!

We really appreciate the program design with the ongoing assessments, parent updates etc. I would appreciate the ability to bank up to a certain number of missed classes to be used during the summer of the same calendar year or to be able to top up the number of sessions with à la carte purchases. The new location in Kelowna although more spacious for students is a parking and drop off hassle. This location was a parking challenge long before the relocation of mathnasium and a busy business with frequent drop off and pick ups and children walking through busy parking lots wasn’t well considered.
I find Math class moves rather quickly in school nowadays not providing enough repetition to help children retain the information. Mathnasium is great as they cater to all needs, whether it's staying on top of it before it becomes or problem or helping a child that is already falling behind. It really helps to have that extra time they don't get in school which has a positive affect on their self confidence. The reward system is awesome as it gives positive reinforcement and a goal for the kids to strive for.
A great experience for both our children, they are in different grades and have different levels of interest in math. Mathnasium helped them gain confidence in school activities and when completing homework, as well as reach beyond the school curriculum and approach math competition at higher level.
Flexibility in scheduling is a plus, helping us navigate the many activities and commitments of our children.
My son started the year struggling and not liking math , now at the end of the year , he has progressed a lot and he’s loving it . It was a success ! Definitely I will bring him here again .

The sessions are very useful and my son enjoys them. I do find the process of booking the sessions to be difficult though.
Appoints are made in advance and cancelled without our knowledge. Yet payment was withdrawn. Very unprofessional.

Staff have been very helpful as there have been issues moving from 8 monthly sessions to 12 and the extra sessions had to be booked manually.
