Staff is very personable and makes math fun for the kids. My children got behind in math due to school teachers’ styles not jiving, but these staff members go out of their way to learn how each kid learns.
Jason and tutors are professional and fun so appeals to both parents and students. Easy to schedule and change membership plans via email. It not only builds important math skills but study skills, test taking skills, and face to face social interaction skills as well with a nice goal oriented system encouraging the students to work toward something. The prizes for achieving their goals are fun too with snacks, little toys or gift cards!
The Mill Valley team was super helpful, flexible and great at supporting our requests for our two kids who were high school bound. They helped refresh and sharpen their math concepts and test taking skills. Appreciated the communication, follow up, and the friendly welcome. Thank you!

I first used Mathnasium last summer for summer camp. Vandan love it. This summer Vandan used it for his Honors Geometry class/ AJ was great and very through with him. I would love to have Vandan work at Mathnasium so he can share with the students what he learned from Mathnasium

We have had a very good experience at Mathnasium of San Bruno - the staff and instructors there have given our son (7 yo) a fun, supportive place for him to enrich his math skills and take advantage of his interest in math. AJ in particular really takes the time to work with our son (we see that he tries to work with the younger kids, who may need a different kind of support or instruction than older kids, and we really appreciate that attention) and to know exactly where he is skill-wise to encourage him and help him become more confident.
Mathnasium Daly City is a welcoming environment that challenges supports and challenges students to help them succeed. Lessons learned transcend the math curriculum. We like because our son enjoys learning here.
The staff is supportive. The schedule is flexible. They listen to parent feedback and provide guidance. Just one request is to open the Centre on Friday or Saturday. Because of long school days/tests/clubs, the weekdays become difficult to attend. Weekend classes will allow easier attendance. Thank you for your consideration.
We love our local Willow Glen Mathnasium! You guys are always there for us and accepting of anything we throw at you! Thank you for being there and helping both of our kids reach new heights!!!! My youngest was a little lost before and now she participates more and says it is easy for her!!!!

Our daughter likes this program a lot, the only thing is I wish we got to see some completed work so that we could see what she's working on.
We love taking our son to Mathnasium. He has learned a lot and is doing really well in school. His Star tests have reflected all he’s learned and continues to learn. We love how Bornali and all the team are so great and helpful.

The beat part about Mathnasium is that its is not grade level specific rather the skills the child needs help with.
There is no pressure of finishing a particular number of pages. More than quantity, quality of understanding a concept is focused on.
My 2nd grade son has been going to Mathnasium for a year now, and it’s been nothing short of amazing. He looks forward to every session—he literally asks to go all the time! His math skills have grown tremendously, which was expected, but what truly impresses me is the fun, engaging environment they create. Beyond math, he gets to enjoy chess and other board games with teachers and friends, making it not just educational but also a perfect after-school activity. We couldn’t be happier!
Great program
My child’s performance in math has increased since he started the program, and I appreciate Mathnasium’s flexibility to customize the lessons to better align with the accelerated math curriculum at school.
My kids have truly benefited from Mathnasium in a huge way. By the end of their school years last year, both of them had very high marks according to California standards. Yet, what I appreciate about Mathnasium is that the benchmark is based mostly on international standards. Given the cuts in public education, the lack of resources to schools and teachers and the large classrooms, let's face it -- students are not being served to compete as mathematicians. We believe that math is not just critical to doing well at math. Math is integral to logic, critical thinking and analysis, problem solving and understanding symmetry and elegance.
The teachers at Mathnasium have been very generous with their support. The staff is highly skilled. And the incentives for achievement are good, although we'd suggest maybe a little les sugar on the rewards!
