We have definitely seen growth in our son's self esteem and comfort level over the past couple of years that he has been at Mathnasium. The pandemic learning loss was real, and he struggled as he approached high school. We all know math doesn't get easier, and it's even worse when you are missing some of the crucial building blocks. He is no longer struggling and is able to maintain A/B grades in his math classes with minimal stress. We are very happy with the support he's gotten from Mathnasium!

Mathnasium helped our daughter grow from a sixth grader who was shaky on the basics to an eight grader who is confident enough to tackle an algebra elective. She finished out her last semester with an A in math, something she never thought was possible and most importantly, no longer identifies as someone who “is bad at math”. The Pacific Heights staff is wonderful - organized, accommodating and friendly. She always loved her tutors.

Our daughter does not like math at school. Up until 4th grade she struggled with math in school. Summer between 4th and 5th she started Mathnasium. She actually likes going (she likes the prizes, has favorite teachers there and friends she goes with) Now she’s in early 5th grade and she is doing her math homework on her own with ease. She’s also more confident and asking her teacher questions in class about new concepts. Before she was just quietly lost… we are very grateful for Mathnasium. Plus, it’s run by really nice people- Michael and Juliet- and they make things feel very personal and hands on.
Michael is wonderful and always responsive to discuss progress and how to fine tune the learning path.

My two children have been studying with Mathnasium these past two years. The courses there are flexible and keep them on track during the school year. I recommend Mathnasium if you want to keep your child’s scores and confidence up!
Both our sons have attended Mathnasium of Twin Peaks and they were able to improve their math skills and performance. They had a customized program that helped them make progress overtime and practice math problems where they still needed practice. The founders, Nathan and Ray, are also happy to work with families' needs and requests. We have had a very positive experience and we would recommend their services to friends and family.
I would like to see more teaching rather than having the student do problems on his own when it’s new materials. Also, especially if the child does not know how to read.
Mathnasium has been a complete game changer for my daughter. When she first started, she was behind in math and it had become something that caused her a lot of stress and anxiety. She actually cried going into her first session. Now, math is her favorite subject, she loves going to Mathnasium, and she is completely caught up and where she needs to be.
The instructors have been so kind and have always made her feel welcome and comfortable. Seeing her go from being anxious about math to genuinely loving it has been amazing. I would highly recommend Mathnasium to any family whose child needs extra support with math.
