My kids are so confident in their math skills at school and a big part of that has to do with their experience at Sunset Mathnasium. In addition, they feel comfortable bringing their school work to Mathnasium to get support, always coming home with feeling like they got the support they needed.
We absolutely love Mathnasium! My daughter started just a few weeks ago, and we have already seen such a huge improvement. Not only has it helped her understand math better, but her confidence has grown and her math grade has improved as well.

Kyla is in first grade and has been attending Mathnasium since February 2026, and we’ve had such a wonderful experience. She absolutely loves going, which says so much about the environment they’ve created. The teachers are incredibly supportive, patient, and encouraging with her, and they make learning math feel fun rather than intimidating.
It’s been so nice to see Kyla build her confidence and genuinely look forward to her sessions. I really appreciate how the instructors meet her where she is, take the time to explain things in a way she understands, and celebrate her progress along the way. We’ve been so happy with our experience and are very grateful for the positive impact Mathnasium has had on her!
I love Mathnasium. It’s been a little over a month since we joined-best decision. My daughter has gone from being terrified of math to looking forward to sessions. When I pick her up, she is so proud of the work she did in session. I love the staff, especially Brosnan; you can tell they are passionate about teaching kids. I really like that they communicate frequently with us and facilitate the relationship between us, them, and our daughter’s school. I like that they hold the school accountable.
We’re very happy to Mathnasium program, my daughters been there since 3 years ago and is so helpful for them to excel their math skills. We really pleased.

Thanks to Mathnasium, now my daughter loves numbers and math.

The Newark California center’s team was really great to work with. Unfortunately our child needed daily 1:1 (extra hour to hour a a half) mentoring and we could not afford the extra sessions he needed. James and Emmanuel went over and beyond and we are very appreciative of their help. Thank you for trying and we hope we could try to re-enroll him for other math activities during the summer.

My child was about 5 grade levels behind in math and had math phobia. After working with Mathnasium for the past two years, the kid is not only at grade level but excels in math and actually likes math. Thank you!!! Recently, there was an event where you could nominate your favorite teacher/ tutor at Mathnasium and when asked “Who do you want to nominate?” my child said “They’re all good.”

Mathnasium has been such a blessing for both my sons. I hardly ever have to look at their math school work anymore. The tutors there are very thorough, kind and supportive. My kids always look forward to their sessions, and they have an excellent reward system that keeps them interested and engaged. I personally appreciate the session reviews and detailed progress emails. It’s a very structured system that works for both parents and kids. Would highly recommend!

We’ve had a great experience with Mathnasium. My son has been going for almost a year, and he really enjoys going. We’ve noticed that he has become more confident in math and has a better understanding of the concepts he is learning. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and encouraging. In a handful of weeks, my daughter has made measurable gains in basic math competencies—and more importantly, her attitude toward math has shifted to confidence and intellectual curiosity. Now she’s using math—and doing it in her head—when we get the check after dinner or watch WNBA games. She’s doing well in school and having fun with a subject that used to stress her out.
We homeschool, so this is our math curriculum. It has been great so far, my daughter is learning at a good pace and she enjoys going to Mathnasium, which is a big win!
I just love Mathnasium and the foundational math skills and confidence it is instilling for my boys at such a young age.
The biggest reason why I gave a rating of 10 is due to the customized support per the needs of the student and the family. The staff and the teachers are always taking the time to listen to the needs & feedback of the family and also allowing the flexibility of the timing of the classes per the changing schedules of the kids.
My kids started to enjoy Math after going to Mathnasium, due to the atmosphere, ability of the teachers to connect with my kids, turning something which could be difficult into something fun. I also see the progress in their grades at school although it has been less than 1 year since we started going to Mathnasium.

We have a great experience at Mathnasium. The teachers are very helpful and kind and take their time to help out the kids with their questions. They also help with homework and practicing for tests which is a big help.
