It is self paced, friendly atmosphere, young staff, low key less stimulation.
It teaches the basics of coding through block methods.
Introduces logic which transaltes to instructional methodology in real life.
Still only doing dimple block methods, hope to transfer to simple script soon.

The programs are designed to ensure the kids have fun while completely absorbing the skills. They work at their own pace so no one feels like they are falling behind or forced to take a test they're not ready for. The environment is collaborative and friendly so that learning is fun. I like that the senseis were former students because it makes the kids more comfortable to learn from their peers. The students also practice their presentation skills after completing their upper belt levels which is a necessary skill for high school and beyond. I tell everyone that Code Ninjas is a great program for any kid -- anyone can learn to code!
The instructors take the time to teach my son at his pace. Not rushing him.
I asked my son after a month starting at Code Ninjas if he's liking it so far. He said "yes". Normally when I ask him questions like that he said "it's ok or meh". He still says he likes almost a year later!
