The gym is always very clean and organized. I appreciate that the members seem to share the same respect for the space as the staff do. I look forward to the continued re-opening of group exercise programs and the additional features of the gym (change rooms, etc.) We are happy to have our gym available to us again as we do not access to exercise equipment elsewhere.
I only use the equipment because I don't enjoy any organized classes. I love working out at my own pace using the equipment. I find it clean and well maintained and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Other the last three years or so as a member I have always been treated with the upmost amount of respect, kindness and generally like part of a bigger family. The staff is always friendly and happy to say hello, or ask how I'm doing. Not only is the YMCA good for my physical health, it's also good for my mental health, not just from the exercised, but also from the staff.
The gym is always cleaned to a high standard, and you'll always catch one of the staff members wiping or cleaning something. Especially during a trying time of Covid-19 they go the extra mile - which sets my mind at ease day in and day out that it's a safe place to be for my daily workout.
I'd even go as far as to say that most of the members embody that same spirit of health, happiness and cleanliness. They all want the same thing - a safe place to workout, with positive growth mentally and physically.

I've had nothing but a positive experience at the YMCA Lambton Shores location. Friendly staff who are always ready to assist, and say hello. Clean atmosphere with quality equipment. I don't think it matters if you're a beginner or a seasoned gym goer, you'll have a positive experience and leave a better person. Keep up the great work team!
