I am new to running. I started running 12 weeks ago in a couch to 5k program in Claremore. I made a very common mistake and bought shoes from a department store. They did not have the right support and caused my shins to hurt. I came into Fleet Feet on 41st after talking to some of the coaches in the RoCo Fit running group. Olga fixed me up. She was very knowledgeable about the kind of shoe I needed. She probably spent a good 30 to 40 minutes with me and answered all my questions. I won't be buying running shoes anywhere else.

I walked in and was helped immediately. Everyone was friendly and helpful. David helped me and he did a wonderful job. I told him what I was looking for and he got right to it. I did the walking on the treadmill thing and he was very knowledgeable. He found the shoes and inserts and socks I needed and so far everything is right on. He had answers for all my questions
You are not just selling shoes and equipment. You sell me what I need and help me understand why I need it. You also find the products that are tailored for my need.
You take the time to match the perfect shoe for your customers...this spreads far beyond just "sales". The perfect shoe may not be in the colors or style the customer may want, but it is truly what they need. Likewise the shoe that is the best may not make the store the most money, but again it is the best shoe for that customer based on many measurements and calculations.

I truly feel I'm getting way more than the nominal fee you charge through extra clinics, actual coaches running and encouraging us and products that help any and all issues with running. I was warned by others not to do running add I would surely gain lifelong injuries. But I'm happy to say I'm injury free so far after 4 weeks.

I have severe plantar fasciitis. My sales person was not only helpful in finding shoes and insert but showed me some exercise that might hel as well. She helpful and very patient.

I also like that the sales associates do not hesitate to discuss as a team my needs to offer me the best possible recommendation.
