My first time at SpertsClips. When I entered the salon, all 3 stylists were in the back room. They had no idea I was there for about 3 minutes. I noticed that a Scott had checked in ahead of me but he wasn't there yet. Tamara came out and asked me what I was there for. I told her it was my first time here and that I checked in online for a haircut. She took me over to a chair and asked me how I like my hair. I told her a #1 on the sides and a #3 on top. She put the drape on me with no tissue and started to cut my hair. She stopped cutting after a couple of minutes. She went to another station, I think to borrow clippers. Tamara changed clippers and started to cut my hair. She was soon interrupted again by the next client that walked in. Tamara checked them in and another stylist came out to assist. Tamara again started on my hair. I noticed she was using a comb between my head and the clippers, like a spacer. I overheard the other stylist welcome her client to the store and offered him the MVP because it was his first time to this location. I then asked Tamara what the MVP was. She told me and said I could upgrade to that if I have the time. I said yes. By now I could tell my haircut was not going well. I could see that there were bumps and patches of long hair. I requested a different stylist. Tamara excused herself and went to get Ashley. Ashley cheerfully called me over to her chair. Tamara uncapped the drape and removed it by pulling it from the bottom around my knees. Needless to say, I had a lap full of hair. I looked to Ashley in disbelief. Ashley again motioned for me to come over. She quietly greeted me and apologized while using s blow dryer to remove the hair. Ashley confirmed how I want my cut. I could quickly tell I was in good hands. We had great conversation. Ashley did upgrade me (for free) to the MVP. Understandably it was hurried as Scott had arrived. I may give SportsClips another shot but next time I will request Ashley.

The check-in process is great! Your automated system allows me to easily access info, and creates choices and options by providing info such as wait times, and stylists available on a given day. It's really smooth and convenient.
