YMCA of Southwest Florida offers a tremendous variety of exercise classes and not just once a week like some YMCA's. There are also a lot of good times for classes. There are so many good things to do, so many choices. I can't do them all, so I have my favorites.
I enjoy taking classes and all the great friends I have made.
Schedule. Teachers. Atmosphere.
I love water aerobics but I refuse to go on Monday and Wednesday with Eliana. She is not a water aerobics instructor and more people I know are stopping going on those days. Otherwise we have great attendance other days. We all love Tasha and Melissa does an okay job and we have fun on Fridays with her. But Eliana is not at all a good instructor and she doesn't communicate with the class.
I'm disappointed that they got all new equipment and some is very different from previous -- especially upstairs. I was working out regularly but they changed I was hesitant because I didn't know how I used them. I wish they would give 'free' instruction on how to operate them.
